Limiting the Use of Disposable Plastic Bag
Disposable plastic bags have forced into our life for about 20 years. They are widely used in groceries, supermarkets, restaurants, and other public places, for they bring great convenience to our daily life.
However, disposable plastic bags have brought about some problems at the same time. For example, as disposable plastic bags are chemical products and are often used as food containers, they do harm to people’’s health. Besides, as they are difficult to recycle, they present a major challenge to the enviromental protection.
As a result, we should take measures to deal with "white pollution" . We are glad to see that our country has started to forbid using free plastic bags from June 1 on this year. Now half a year has passed. We can see in supermarket free plastic bags have disappeared, which has helped to enhance people’s awareness for environmental protection as they take shopping bags with themselves when they go shopping. On the other hand, free plastic bags are still being used in some small shops. If we want to get rid of plastic bags in our life, more education and efforts should be further made. In a word, we should spare no efforts to put the law into effect and try our best to protect our earth!
